The human role in accelerating global change is evident in nearly all realms of the natural world upon which human health, safety and welfare depend.

To deal effectively with climate change on a global scale, we must create action that crosses borders, languages, cultures, markets, and oceans.

E to the fourth is a communications firm that helps an environmental organization, or an organization adopting an environmental mission, reach target audiences and strengthen its  identity as a thought-and-action leader.

Our goal is unlocking what the experts know about the grand challenges we face and making that knowledge useful for everyone–from experts in other fields to legislators and policy makers, from our parents to our peers and our children.

Much of the technology we need has already been invented, if not put into production. Inventing ways to scale up myriad helpful technologies and practices will require a social transformation. As diverse as humans are, so too will the solutions be diverse–from adopting new technology, and realigning institutional boundaries and linkages, to transforming consumer behavior. While science and technology can point out options, it will require social action and collective consensus to restructure how we extract a more sustainable livelihood from the planet. We need informed decisions from our largest institutions. We need the same from our smallest as well. An informed citizenry is the best method to ensure action at the larger scale.

Here’s a book we wrote on climate solutions (what we have to do now!):

Our Goal:

Unlock expertise for effective climate action.
